It is with a heavy heart I announce that I have decided to leave Deviant Art. I have been here for over a decade and I never thought I'd say this but it's time that I move on. I won't delete my account but I'm not going to be active here anymore.
I am grateful for all I have learned and for all of the friends I have made.
I wish you all the very best.

Hello everyone! I haven't written a Deviantart journal in about a year and a half! Crazy... Anyway... That's kind of what this is about. I've been on Deviantart for over a decade now (wow!) and honestly it's just not doing it for me anymore. It's a shame because this has been such a special place for me and I've met some lifelong friends here. But I feel it's kind of dead. I hardly get any feedback here and I'm buried in thousands of notifications I don't have time to answer because I'm not often on my computer and the app is... not great.
I'm not going to abandon my account. I'm still going to post on here and when I have time I'd really like to clean up my account. But I am really far more active on my other accounts! If you like my work and are able I'd love to see you there (I do giveaways too)! Thank you so much to all who have supported me over the years!

Life has been a whirlwind for me lately. A whirlwind of both good and bad things. I think I've been producing more art than I ever have in my life and I have sort of a love/hate relationship with it. I definitely feel like I'm learning but I never seem to be happy with what I produce. Sigh. Ain't that just the way.
